Well, it's been awhile since I done brought some news to the masses, so here goes:

Just in time for the holidays, I've reduced the price of all Pro Tools beats in the beatshop by $50, and the others by $25. Just imagine the look on your loved one's face when they unrap a cd of you spittin' fire over FTC beats! Priceless. Also, I've added a few new dope beats, too.

 After a summer of inaction, the music manufacturers have come back with some new and exciting whatnots and gizmos. At the forefront is Omnisphere, the super sweet virtual instrument by Spectrosonics. Full of magic and delightful sounds, I could sit here and try to describe it to you, or you could just go check out Omnisphere yoursef.

Also in the cool new stuff department is the impending release of Pro Tools 8 . Now I love me some Pro Tools, and this promises to be a doozie. New interface, more functionality, new instruments, new plugins, and it just goes on and on. Also, you'll be able to purchase toolkits that will allow you to add more tracks and other valuable tidbits to your production and mixing environment. You must check it out....

Sony has released their new version of Acid, Acid 7 , another player in the DAW market. It should be checked out too.If you've never used Acid to make music before, you should give it a whirl. There's even a free trial of it here so you can make some musics.

I just received notification of a new "soundcard" available for Ultimate Soundbank's UVI Workstation. The workdtation works like other sample playback instruments, like Kontakt player and Sample tank. But the new soundcard, which is just a sample library, is called Electric Toy Museum. 97 flavors of beep makin', lo bit noise playin' toys. Looks like a blast!
