FTC Musik Labz

Happy New Year, everybody! Lots of interesting things on the horizon. For starters, there's the FTC Refill 2009 available in the beatshop. A must have for any producer. Also,

So yes, we were finally able to get the FTC Refill 2009 done finally. Bunch of good Combinator patches, Thor patches, and drum one shots, but the real magic is the rex loops and wav samples. You see, back in the day, when I was working on Twiztid's "Freekshow" album, they were fresh off a nice batch of lawsuits from their first album, where they sampled a bunch of people that wound up getting paid for it. So I was told in no uncertain terms "NO OUTSIDE SAMPLES!!!!!". So I raided my vault of sonic oddities for things I could use that wouldn't get lawyers involved. I've got this habit of recording everything I've ever been involved in. So I've got hundreds of hours of some straight up never been heard, weirdo (and not so weirdo), material. Anyhow, I chopped it up and used it for a bunch of songs, and have decided to share it with you, the musical public.

     Next off, we're trying desperately to get the new website straightened around so that it can go live this year. But bear with us, we're musicians not IT professionals so it goes slow.      The beats in the beatshop have been hanging around for a while, so we reduced the price on them. If you're interested in buying in bulk, just hit us up. Anything can be arraged, because we've got some dope S@#t that's going to be put up in the spring. 

     And last but not least we'd like to give a big thumbs up to Hellfire Carl and the boys down at Broken Traditions Tattoos down in Wyandotte. Their dream is about to be realized and their doors will be open soon, lots of hard work from the whole crew to make that happen. So needless to say, anytime you're downriver drop by and get inked and skewered, and maybe you'll even bump into one of us there. I'm trying to get Carl to let me get Tattoed while I make beats live for an audience......
